A testimony: Long post, but hopefully encouragement. I don’t have much blood family that I have contact with, yet I have 2 older sisters.
We were never that close, as they are 10 and 15 years older, but still in contact. The stress of our Mom not having life insurance when she passed, when we thought she did, broke what was left of any relationship we had. I had already been the one looking out for her, so I ended up taking on all the cost of her Final Arrangements. $9k that I didn’t need to be spending at the time. I vowed I would never do that to my kids, yet still didn’t make the moves to cover myself and husband properly.
We have 5 children, not a smart move not being covered, especially when my husband had a hazardous job.
Fast forward 2 years, my husband gets injured on his job. No, Disability income policy. Then the pandemic hits. I had to decide that while homeschooling 4 kids, and tending to a hurt husband that I needed to go back to school. So I did, and went back for Paralegal Technology, but then I saw a post about being Financially Free and putting your bills on autopay.
I said..well I want that too! So here I am…40 years old, taking 17 credits in college, homeschooling 4 kids.
If I can do it, you can too! I have my days where I want to give up, where I feel lost, and want to quit. I have little help, but I just take it one day at a time.
This is a phenomenal testimony about reasons you should get Life Insurance. Stop putting it off.
Today is the day to make a sound decision.
